And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.

Afraid of the Light

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.

old wine to drink

Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.

Ricoh 500G, a failthful old camera that I have owned for more than 30 years. It certainly has brightened my days a lot and accompanied me when I was learning photography. This is my second camera. It certainly look old with some reasonable wear and tear after all these years.

Tibet revisited - 2012 [Qingzang Train Ride]

I never expect myself to revisit Tibet again so soon, i.e. just two years after my last visit in 2010. In any case, it was still a very fulfilling and enjoyable trip, with a bunch of good friends.

Here are some photos taken while taking the train from Chengdu to Lhasa, during the part of journey which covers the highland railway, and commonly known as Qingzang Railway (or Qinghai-Tibet Railway).

This is a high-elevation railway that connects Xining (Qinghai Province), to Lhasa, (Tibet Autonomous Region), in People's Republic of China.
